§ 30-21. Permit and bond.

  • (a)

    Whenever a barricade, shed or fence is required by section 30-20, or when the use of public space is required for any construction operation, the owner or person erecting or using same shall obtain a permit therefor and file with the town manager a sidewalk barricade bond in the amount of $5,000.00 payable to the town.

    (b)

    The bond shall be executed by a surety company licensed to do business in the state and shall be conditioned in accordance with provisions of such bond on file in the office of the town.
