§ 18-86. Count and proclamation of results.

(a)

At the close of the election, the inspectors shall immediately proceed to open the voting machines and record the totals on the various meters and continue such without adjournment or interruption until the same is completed.

(b)

The canvass being completed, the result shall be publicly proclaimed.
