§ 18-87. Certification of results.

  • (a)

    Duplicate certificates of the result of each election shall be drawn up by the inspectors and shall contain the name of each person voted upon and the number of votes cast for each person for his respective office.

    (b)

    If any question shall be submitted to any election, such certificate shall also contain the number votes cast for and against such question.

    (c)

    The certificates shall be signed by the inspectors and clerk.

    (d)

    One of such certificates shall be delivered without delay by one of the inspectors, securely sealed, to the town clerk, together with the poll list, memoranda and all papers and records of whatsoever nature.
