§ 2.16. Signatures and authentication.

  • It shall be the duty of the presiding officer and the clerk of the council, who shall be the town clerk or other person appointed by the council, to sign the original copy of each ordinance or resolution upon its final passage. The town clerk shall record in full in a properly indexed book kept for the purpose and authenticated by his or her signature this Charter and all ordinances and resolutions adopted by the council.
