§ 8-103. Seizure; redemption or sale.

(a)

The chief of police shall seize any machine which is being operated in violation of any of the provisions of this article.

(b)

Upon the seizure of any machine the chief of police shall cause same to be taken to and stored in a proper place.

(c)

The owner of such machine may obtain the release of the machine upon the payment of all proper charges for drayage, storage or costs incurred in the seizure of such machine.

(d)

No such machine shall be released to the owner thereof without all proper license fees due thereon having been paid.

(e)

If the owner of any such machine fails to obtain release thereof within 30 days, the person storing same may sell same in accordance with law.
