§ 2-31. Salary.

(a)

Councilmembers, while ..... serving as councilmembers of the town, shall be compensated monthly according to the following schedule:

Population	Base Salary per Year
Up to 9,000	$3,000.00
9,000 to 12,000	3,600.00
12,000 to 15,000	4,200.00
15,000 to 18,000	4,800.00
18,000 to 21,000	5,400.00

 

(b)

The mayor shall receive one-third of the base salary in addition to compensation paid as councilmember.
