§ 18-1. Application of provisions.

Any and all provisions contained in this chapter shall refer both to general elections and special elections called upon and in pursuance of the Charter except where prescribed specifically for each class of elections. All provisions herein contained referring to general elections shall, with appropriate modification of wording, apply to special elections called for the elections of officers or submission of public questions or referendum.
